Get to know S.T.E.A.M AT NDThe Notre Dame STEAM club is a quintessential part of the ND community. The STEAM club meets every week, inviting students interested in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to explore their interests freely. Through activities such as NASA engineering challenges, 3D printed art tutorials or unique experiments in the labs at ND, project based learning thrives.
STEAM challenges the issues facing society today. Our first ever STEAM conference, revolving around Health and Wellness, ran last year and our upcoming Climate Conference promises to be just as successful. Through these conferences, the ND STEAM club reaches out to its own community and other communities as well. This betterment of society and student’s lives through the application of 5 core subjects is what defines STEAM @ ND.

STEAM club members benefit from the exploration of their own interests, but are also presented with opportunities too give back. STEAM club members host regular STEAM days at a variety of elementary school in Halton, allowing club members to share their passions with the future generations through the presentation of their own uniquely crafted STEAM activities. These opportunities enrich the experiences and skills of our club members, and are a core aspect of STEAM. |

"To me, STEAM is a place where I can explore my interest in hands on projects that I don't get to do in class. It's a place where I can become friends with people who have the same interest in science and technology as me." - Serena Higgins Irving. // Club member (3 years)
